IAM3D COMPETITION

IAM3D is an engineering challenge that combines mechanical design with 3D printing manufacturing. Participants design a robot that is entirely manufactured using 3D printing technology to operate inside an arena filled with sand, gravel, and bricks. The robot must be capable of collecting these materials and placing them into a designated container within the arena.

IAM3D — COMPETITION DETAILS

The robot is controlled remotely using a First-Person View (FPV) system without direct sight of the arena, which demands precision in control and efficiency in design. Participants earn points for each material collected, with significant bonus points awarded for picking up small metallic pieces.

In addition to arena performance, each team submits a technical report detailing the design phases, development process, and testing stages the robot underwent before the competition.

🏆 IAM3D — OUR ACHIEVEMENT

Our team achieved 1st Place in the IAM3D Competition thanks to an innovative design and outstanding robot performance during the challenge.

RC CARS CHALLENGE — EFx ASME ASSIUT

The RC Cars Challenge is an engineering competition organized by EFx ASME Assiut that tests students' ability to design and manufacture a Remote Control (RC) car capable of navigating a track filled with obstacles and sharp turns within a limited time.

RC CARS — COMPETITION DETAILS

The evaluation in this competition is based on the car's performance on the track as well as the quality of design and manufacturing. Teams are required to submit an engineering report that details the drawings, materials used, and the operating mechanisms implemented in the car.

🏆 RC CARS — OUR ACHIEVEMENT

Our team achieved 2nd Place in the RC Cars Challenge thanks to efficient design and outstanding car performance during the competition.
